Ulaş Tuna Astepe was born on May 5, 1988, in İzmit. After completing his primary and secondary education in İzmit, he attended Istanbul Boys' High School as a boarding student. He completed his higher education at the Mimar Sinan University State Conservatory, Department of Theatre.

In 2008, Astepe worked as a costume assistant on the film "Ottoman Republic," after which he began to participate in theatre and television projects. He played the characters Orhan in the series "Karadayı," Mustafa in "Analar ve Anneler," Alaz in "Rüya," and Tahir in "Sen Anlat Karadeniz."

He also acted in the plays "Bayrak" and "Babamın Cesetleri," written and directed by Berkun Oya, and "Cam Yapraklar," staged by Sami Berat Marçalı.

Astepe, who played the character Selim in the film Körfez directed by Emre Yeksan, has also appeared in the short films Üniversiteli, Zayiat, Meşakkat ve Karısı, and Balık Havuzu.

Most recently, she plays the character Adil in the TV series "Taşacak Bu Deniz" (This Sea Will Overflow), which airs on TRT1.
