Later, in 1989, a family friend saw the beauty of the artist's voice and introduced him and his mother, Müjgan Kumartaşlıoğlu, to Neşe Demirkanat, partner of Raks Neşe Music. Neşe Demirkanat, who was fascinated when she listened to Ebru's voice, directed her to work with the famous producers Koral Sarıtaş and Selçuk Tekay. The artist had his first stage experience when producer Koral Sarıtaş made Ebru Gündeş sing vocals for Emel Sayın in 1991. Two years later, in 1993, the artist's first album, "The God Guest", had a bombshell effect from the moment it was first released on the music market. The song was previously performed by Ajda Pekkan, so it was known. The effective singing and powerful voice of a 19-year-old man drew attention. The artist, who achieved a high sales figure of 1 million 250 thousand in his first album, thus signaled that he would exist in the music market.

One year after the impact of the first album was over, the artist managed to raise the bar of success even higher with his second album "Tatlı Bela". With this album, the artist was awarded the 'Best Female TSM Artist' award at the 1st Kral TV Video Music Awards in 1995. With his third album "Ben Not Grown Up" in 1995 and "Kurtlar Sofrası" in 1996, the artist is now considered one of the important voices of the music world. The album "Ben Not Grown Up" also marked the beginning of Ebru Gündeş's relationship with Serdar Ortaç in her musical life. Ebru Gündeş left her mark on the night by receiving the TSM Best Female Artist award and the Best Song of the Year award at the 2nd Kral TV Video Music Awards in 1996. Ebru Gündeş won the Best Turkish Classical Music Female Artist award four times in five years since the 1st Kral TV Video Music Awards, which started to be held in 1995, becoming the person who won this award the most. Meanwhile, Ebru Gündeş, who also evaluated her acting offers, started to take the leading roles in television series bearing the name of her albums.

Continuing her productivity in music, Ebru Gündeş presented her fifth album "Sen Allah'ın Bir Lütfusun" to music lovers in 1997. The album became one of the unforgettable hits of the 90s with the songs that caught the agenda with its own style and tone. The album was produced under the direction and arrangement of Kerem Ökten alongside Selçuk Tekay. Serdar Ortaç's song with the same name as the album, You "Allah's Blessing", brought the TSM Best Female Artist award for the fourth time to Ebru Gündeş at the 5th Kral TV Video Music Awards, where the 1998 awards were given, but also the same award. It was nominated for the best song of the year award at the ceremony.

Continuing his success in music, the artist released his sixth album "Don Ne Olur" in 1998. The album once again took its place among the best selling albums. However, the artist suffered an unfortunate disturbance during the press promotion of his album 'Dön Ne Olur' in 1999. Ebru Gündeş, whose album promotion was interrupted, underwent two important operations on December 1, 1999 in the hospital where she was hospitalized with the diagnosis of cerebral hemorrhage. He was discharged on December 16, 1999 and left behind the hard times.

After a one-year rest period, the artist gave his first concert on the night of March 11, 2000 at the Bostancı Performance Center and donated all the income of the concert to the Haydarpaşa Numune Education and Research Foundation Hospital Reanimation Clinic.

He took his place in music markets with his tenth album 'Kaçak' released in December 2006, and continued his work at full speed, saying that he had the best and most productive days of his career. Many songs of the artist, such as Kızıl Mavi, Immortal Love, and Great, were among the cult songs of the artist, who brought his album "Yes" together with his fans on October 12, his birthday, in 2008.

In 2011, Taşkın Sabah was the Music Director; The album "BEYAZ", consisting of valuable works by Ayla Çelik, Ersay Üner, Gökhan Tepe, Serdar Ortaç, Sinan Akçıl, Şebnem Sungur, Zeynep Talu and Sezen Aksu, took its place in music markets. She got married to Iranian businessman Rıza Sarraf in 2010 and her daughter Alara was born on 15 October 2011. The artist, who had troubled times when his wife Rıza Sarraf was mentioned in corruption allegations in December 2013 and he was detained for a while, was relieved after his wife was released. The artist, whose allegations of divorce with his wife have come to the fore in the tabloid press in recent years, has always denied these allegations.
